I loved the Professor and The Madman! We also have one other by Simon Winchester, The Map That Changed The World.

@scrabblequeen - I've been holding off reading the book for about 3 years! I can't wait to read it. Are you posting a list for your re-read challenge?

Hi other Carin. It is funny seeing your name posted on things I didn't write! I love your list. I'd highly recommend Madman (and it's really short - bonus). Also wanted to mention Midnight in the Garden is technically listed as NF, although like many a memoir, that's probably sticky territory if anyone really wanted to investigate. Happy reading!

Thanks for pointing that out to me. I don't know anything about the book. My sister-in-law recommended it to me so I picked it up, but I didn't look at anything but the title. I'm so glad everyone likes The Professor and the Madman. It's been sitting on my shelf for years, and I am finally determined to get to it this year!
