The only one I knew on this particular trivia night was The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. Leeswammes correctly guessed Player Piano. I am thinking that she would be great to bring along to a trivia night! Too bad she lives so far away! I am going to trivia next Wednesday so I will try to remember to post the book question from it. Um...yeah...I only knew the Sun Also Rises...too. Guess I can't go along to trivia night!
You did better than I would have done - I didn't know any of those!
@Jackie - I will say in all fairness that all three were contemporary American authors so for those outside the U.S. the question may have been more difficult. However, I only knew Ernest Hemingway! I've only read Slaughterhouse Five by Vonnegut (and didn't like it...AT ALL) and I've never read Faulkner (although he is on my list to get to eventually).
I LOVE Trivia so I'd love to come along to a trivia night someday! :-)
We "did" Kurt Vonnegut in the Authot, Author Shelfari group, that's how I knew!
